  • AGB Nielsen Media Research was elected standing director of China Marketing Research Association

Nov 2007

  • Memorandum of co-operation was signed between AGB Nielsen Media Research and China Economic Monitoring and Analysis Centre of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) with the promise of strong support in the future from NBS. A further memorandum of co-operation was with the Sichuan Radio and TV Group.
  • Dr. Colussi, Chairman of the Management Board of AGBNMR visited the newly inaugurated Wuhan Radio and TV Centre as the first foreign guest to the centre.

Dec 2007

  • Quanzhou became the 22nd city for which AGB Nielsen Media Research provides independent TAM reporting.
  • Following Liaoning Province, the TAM Network in China continues to extend. With the accomplishment of sample setting in Sichuan, AGB Nielsen Media Research will begin to release data there early in 2008.
  • By end 2007, AGB Nielsen Media Research’s TAM network in China has covered 11 provinces and municipalities including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu. Shandong, Fujian, Chongqing, Tianjin, Liaoning and Sichuan. As well as 22 cities with independent reports.
